edited April 2016 in Turneringar

    Getting there
You can travel there by car, bus, train or plane. Should you be coming from abroad the
most comfortable and easiest means of travel will most likely be to go by plane.

The airport is called "Bergen Airport Flesland" and is located approximately 20 kilometres from the city centre. There is an express bus service to the city centre that leaves from just outside the exit from the airport every ten minutes.

The train station in Bergen is in the city centre. There is a direct route from Oslo to Bergen which is famous for the nice scenery across the Hardangervidda plateau at over 1.000 metres above sea level. See www.nsb.no for time tables and prices.

    Getting home
We will finish shortly after 1700 on Sunday so that people have time to get home. The venue is a 30 minute cab ride from the airport. Here are some direct flights that might be helpful, and we will make sure we finish in time for:
    Stockholm: SAS 19:35
    Copenhagen: Norwegian: 20:05, SAS 20:55
    London: BA 20:30
    Trondheim: SAS 19:40 and 22:30
    Oslo: Plenty of evening options.

    The venue
The venue is located in the City Centre at Klosteret 2, “Nordnes bydelshus.”

    Tournament Rules

    The Players
All the players that attend the Tournament are expected to conduct themselves appropriately throughout the tournament. That includes playing the game in the right spirit, making sure they have everything they need (dice, templates, clear team rosters and their team!) and in general contributing to a friendly environment where everyone can enjoy both their games
and the time spent in between rounds with their peers. The tournament organizers will do their best to ensure that the tournament runs smoothly and everything is provided to enable the players to get as much enjoyment as possible from the event, and likewise the players should do their utmost to hold up their end of the bargain. Most important of all, enjoy yourself!

    The Officials
The officials for the tournament are 100% committed to ensuring that your Pouring Rain Open experience is the best it can possibly be. Our job is to make sure everything runs smoothly and that you can concentrate solely on your task at hand and that is to play the best you can for 2 days against likeminded people that share your love of the Bloodbowl hobby. We would like to state we are looking forward to the event as much as the players and pledge to do our best to run the event as smoothly and professionally as possible.

    Basic Rules
Pouring Rain Open is played with Competition Rules Pack including the rules for the three extra teams Slann, Underworld and Chaos Pact. We play according to the resurrection style of play. All coaches start each game with the same roster and skills they registered before the tournament.

    Pouring Rain special rule
For Game 3 only, there will be a special rule in place to reflect Bergen’s reputation as one of the wettest places in Europe. On the Weather table Nice and Pouring Rain will be swapped, (So 4-10 is Pouring Rain, 11 is Nice) and regardless of the result in the kickoff chart there will always be a gust of wind.

    Team building
Each coach build their team with a treasury consisting of 1,100,000 gold crowns.
Inducements are only available to tier 3 teams with the following restrictions. All tier 3 teams can buy 0-2 Star Players but must have at least 11 regular players before doing so. Goblins may buy 0-3 bribes and Halflings may buy 0-1 master chef.

    Skills
All skills will be chosen before the tournament and will stay the same for all matches throughout the tournament. See the tier chart below for information on how many and which type of skills your selected team can choose. A coach may use some or all of the extra cash (tier 2 & 3 only) to buy skills. The rest is added to the team treasury and used towards building the team. Skills are priced as follows, 20K for a normal skill and 30K for a double skill.

Skill stacking or stat upgrades are not allowed.

    Tier 1
    6 normal skills

Wood Elf, Undead, Lizardmen, Skaven, Dwarf, Chaos Dwarf, Orcs, Dark Elf, Norse, Amazon

    Tier 2
6 normal skills, 1 double skill and 20K extra cash

Chaos, Chaos Pact, Human, Khemri, Slann, Necromantic, High Elf, Elf, Nurgle

    Tier 3
6 normal skills, 1 double skill and 50K extra cash

    Underworld, Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Vampire

    Please note
Your team must be painted and all models must be clearly recognizable to your opponent. All skills must be clearly noted on your team roster before the tournament starts. All positions and all skills must be written in English to avoid language confusion.

You will be asked to hand in a copy of your team roster to the tournament organisation before the tournament starts.

Little Army Designer can be used to produce a nice roster.

Illegal procedures will not be called throughout the tournament.

The 4 minute turn limit will not be specifically enforced throughout the tournament. There is however a time limit for each game according to the schedule below. If an official believes that a game will not be completed within the allotted time with 1 hour remaining, the players will share the time left using a chess clock/app.
