Rätt lite beslutades. Det vi gjorde var att sätta ett par deadlines och vi formade arbetsgrupper. Regler, lokaler och kommunikation (t.ex. närvaro på forum) var exempel på sådana. En del folk som inte fanns på plats draftades till olika uppgifter, och vi får se om det faller i god jord.
Saker som vi också dryftade var vilka städer som kan vara aktuella och vilken nivå vi vill att evenemanget ska hålla. Budget kom upp som en naturlig följd av detta, men i denna och flera andra frågor var det helt enkelt för tidigt för att fatta beslut. Det här var trots allt ett uppstartsmöte.
The 13 December Sweden’s blood bowl community had its first meeting to begin the planning of EuroBowl XI (2016). With two years at our disposal we have a long road ahead and will try our very best to give the Belgians phenomenal tournament a run for its money.
The first meeting decided on a few things that we want to inform everybody about so you can follow our progress.
1) The main organizer will be Ozt, a well-known face to many blood bowl coaches.
He has organized Sweden´s largest Blood Bowl tournament for several years.
There will be about 12-18 coaches to support him.
2) We will begin the search for a fitting venue straight away with our first deadline 31 January 2015. This is the date that the quotation for the hotels/conference centers will be sent out.
3) The rules for the tournament will be next on the list after the captains have agreed upon the content of the unwritten rules for EuroBowl. We would like to have this done no later than 31 January 2015. If that is possible we could present the rules for debate during the spring of the same year.
4) Our goal is to have open information to the community. Therefore we have appointed two coaches, Lard and Coma, responsible for all the official communication as well as to answer any questions and make use of any suggestions that may arise. The channels for communication will be (at least) thenaf, Talkfantasy football, facebook, twitter and Instagram.
As you can imagine the brainstorm about how to make Eurobowl 2016 a great tournament have just begun. We want to encourage you to participate by telling us what you want to see during the tournament. This could be things that other tournaments have done or things that you not yet have seen.
We will use this thread to keep you informed about the progress and feel free to give us the necessary prompts we need if we happen to go too much out of bounds.
