Squigbowl Säsong 38
Stockbowls säsong 38 drar mot sitt slut. Några lag kommer bli tvungna att slåss om pokalen i slutspel men för övriga lag hägrar den ärorika Squigbowl! Alla lag som inte ska spela i slutspelet kan nu anmäla sig till Squigbowl 38.
Nedan följer vad som gäller för Squigbowl i säsong 38.
Squig Bowl will be played as three games parallell to the playoff games. It will be run as a three-game tournament with swiss pairing.
Squigbowl is open to the following teams: teams that played in the previous season and did not make it to the playoffs; teams from the open league that will participate in the main league next season; newly drafted teams that have not yet played their first match.
Playoff teams that lose their quarter-final games are also encouraged to participate in the two remaining games of Squigbowl (points-wise they will be counted as having lost their first Squigbowl games).
Squigbowl is supposed to be a lighthearted event and we encourage coaches to be competitive with a sense of humor. The rules will reflect this by replacing the ball with a squig-ball and some special rules from one of GW's publications or other sources, which will be different for each season's Squigbowl event.
Rules for Squig Bowl
Squig Ball: Squig Bowl uses a Limping Squig Ball as described on p.74 in Death Zone.
Rules in short:
At the start of each player turn:
If on the ground, bounce D3 times.
If held by a player, roll a D6. On a 1 (Team-RR can be used if it’s the active player’s turn) the squig breaks free and bounces once. No turnover.
At touchdown, roll a D6. On a 1 the squig bites the scoring player who gets -1 AG for the rest of the game.
Special rules for season 38: Fanatic gnome tricksters!
It’s time for us to learn how the Trickster rule works as it’s the year of the gnomes!
Some fledgling illusionists who were deemed too weak and too crazy to get a position in proper gnome teams have banded together and offered their services for free to the Squigbowl organizers.
This Squigbowl all participating teams may without cost induce up to three of the following choices:
0-3 drunk illusionists waving knives around
MA 3, ST 1, AG 3+, PA-, AV 7+, Ball & Chain, Right Stuff, Stab, Stunty, Swarming, Trickster, Loner(4+)
0-3 suicidal illusionists running with bombs
MA 5, ST 1, AG 3+, PA-, AV 7+, Bombardier, Secret Weapon, Stunty, Swarming, Trickster, Loner(4+)
Special rule: the suicidal illusionists may move before performing a throw bomb action.

Kniv och ball & chain. Betyder det att han får stabba varje gång han rör sig, men att han rör sig med inkaststencilen (eller hur man nu säger throw in template på svenska)?
Är swarming-regeln per illusionisttyp eller för illusionister totalt? Det vill säga: om jag har två knivfyllon på planen kan jag då swarma en bombkille, eller bara ett till knivfyllo?
Hjälper sure hands på något sätt mot att bollgrisen sliter sig loss, eller är han så pass upprörd att ingen färdighet hjälper?
Kan en spelare med safe pair of hands placera bollgrisen i valfri tom ruta om den sliter sig?

Kniv ball & chain får välja en normal block eller använda stab vid varje move in i en annan spelare.
Swarming gäller gemensamt för alla med swarming.
Sure hands hjälper inte för att hålla kvar squigen.
Safe pair of hands gäller endast när bollhållaren blir "Knocked Down or Placed Prone (but not it they Fall Over)"
--- Det kan dock tänkas att Sure hands och andra skills kan få en effekt på squigbollen om många medlemmar tycker det.

Är vi bara två personer som ska spela Squigbowl? Verkar knapert.
Ja, vi bör bli minst tre så att vi åtminstone får två matcher var.

Slutspeldagen är nu satt till 2a Juni och därmed är även det squigbowls huvuddag.
Dock beslutar jag eftersom det inte är kritiskt att Squigbowl avslutas just på slutspelsdagen att deltagare får spela sina matcher vid senare tillfälle om 2a juni av någon anledning absolut inte funkar.
(Det kommer inte tolereras något löst skvaller rörande huruvida att det faktum att jag själv är redan bokad på annat den 2a juni har något med saken att göra)

Jag tänker lägga upp matcherna på lördag, så får eventuella eftersläntrare litet tid på sig att hoppa på Squigbowlen
